Baby Phat Pants, Drawstring Cargo with Army Belt

Do you like my cargo pants Steve? Yes ma’am. Here’s something you should know: military guys wear their boots everywhere. Boots out to dinner, boots to the DMV, boots to the mall, boots to the beach. It’s gets very annoying after a while.

I like Army clothes and colors, especially cargo pants, but I couldn’t wear the same thing every day. The worst part of the whole experience was being dumped by Steve. Said I was putting too much pressure on him, and it made him feel “uncomfortable.” So let me get this straight, you have people trying to blow you up 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and me asking you to call more often is what’s making you uncomfortable? Yeah right. Do some more push-ups, JERK.

I won’t make the same mistake again – no military guys, no inmates. Maybe I’ll date a fireman. Do fireman wear cargo pants? Who knows, they’re at work for days at a time. Of course all they do is work out all day and cook for the other guys. It’s a little weird to say the least. At least he’ll be in shape, which is more than I can say for most guys I meet around town. And he’ll be able to cook. My girlfriend dated a fireman and told me that he was obsessed with juvenile time-killing activities, like shooting pool, Scrabble, poker, gin rummy, Canasta, etc. How annoying. I’d rather spontaneously combust than play Canasta. I guess they are just used to waiting around for something to happen. Okay I’m not going to be dating fireman. Did I mention these cargo pants have drawstring cuffs? Drawstrings are underused, especially on full length cargo pants – please take a look.

Now that it’s officially November, let’s talk turkey ladies. Time to start wearing long pants. One guy had a laptop, two newspapers, a yellow legal pad – he even had Post It notes stuck all over the table. I need a place to sit – HELLO. I have a lot of stuff – lip gloss, keys, wallet, Blackberry. This is why women need cargo pants more than anyone – we carry a lot of stuff. By the way, I don’t think any of these jokers were actually “working” to begin with. Working on a caffeine buzz maybe, but that’s about it. Perhaps I will write a strongly worded letter to the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf to make them aware of this gross misappropriation of their precious retail space. I’m sure they’ll jump right on it! While I was there I thought about buying a fancy cappuccino machine that I would otherwise never consider in a million years. If I didn’t NEED their coffee so much…I might just maybe possibly consider not going there anymore. (Okay let’s not get crazy.) What about some sort of compromise? The laptop guys over there, the yentas over here. That sounds reasonable. I have a lot to say, and so do my friends – and of course it’s all very important. I can’t get it all out on my blog about women’s cargo clothing. Is this really the forum for my personal problems? Maybe I need to roll-up my cargo pants and see a shrink; get to the bottom of this Coffee Bean “problem.” Or maybe I need some sort of 12-step program. Or maybe I should just shut-up?
